About us

Our agency has been an integral part of the Southern District of Alabama’s justice system since the creation of the federal probation system in 1925, adapting over decades to meet changing local needs—from post-war population shifts and economic development along the Gulf Coast to contemporary challenges such as substance use and reentry. That history informs our approach: we combine long-standing community relationships and local knowledge with modern supervision practices to support victims, uphold court decisions, and help individuals succeed after conviction.
